Matthew 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

One thing I have learned is that some people, no matter how much they have, will never have enough. I’ve seen first hand someone having the money to get themselves out of debt but instead going to buy something they feel they “deserve to have” and then saying they believe that God is gonna get that bill paid. Now I am in no way judging people who have debt because I still have some debt. What I am saying is that we have to be better stewards of what we are given before we should expect more. Now God may just see fit to get that bill paid without any effort from you but why allow yourself to be in a situation that God has already delivered you from. Many times we don’t recognize when God is answering our prayers. I’ve learned in my own life that the way God answers my prayers for more finance many times is through a new skill. Every time I have found myself low on funds or with an unexpected bill, God presents a way for me to make the money rather than me just finding it or money just being given to me. This not only helps me in that situation but in the future as well. God knows that I won’t really learn anything from having things just given to me, but when he gives me a way to work for it, I now have options for the future.
I use the example of money and debt because it’s one that just about everyone can relate. This also can apply to many other situations like friendship, work, school, ministry, and life in general.
What are some area’s you need to work on being a better steward?
I hope this blesses you!
